Specialists in Madagascar & Volunteering in the UK Specialists are people who are willing to take on more responsibility and potentially make a longer term commitment to Azafady either in Madagascar or in the UK. In Madagascar In order to take a Specialist post, it is, of course, a prerequisite that you have the associated skills. It would also be preferable to have had some previous experience of Madagascar. For the most part, Specialists are volunteers and they are expected to cover personal costs associated with the work unless funding has already been allocated for the specific role. In the UK Our organisation is run with just a few paid staff from a small office in London. We are always keen to find willing and able helpers for a multitude of tasks from fundraising to project administration, marketing or even just the photocopying. We are grateful for any commitment you can make to help us, be it a day a week or a couple of hours a month. Applicants with relevant specialist skills will be considered when opportunities arise. We are always interested to work with motivated individuals or groups interested in leading projects under the umbrella of Azafady and within our infrastructure. Of particular interest to us are projects on subjects that will help to fulfil our goals of eradicating poverty, suffering and environmental damage in Madagascar.
